MNY Magazine Cover Policy

My New York Magazine values creativity and strives to create covers that reflect the spirit and energy of our beloved city. We are open to collaborating with talented artists, designers, and photographers to create memorable and vibrant covers.

However, to ensure that the covers align with the magazine's concept and standards, we reserve the right to:

  • Refusal to Publish: My New York Magazine reserves the unconditional right to not publish a cover project for any reason, including (but not limited to) disagreement with the magazine's vision, compliance with editorial policies, or simply at its sole discretion.

  • Free work of the magazine team (in certain cases): In case of projects of particular interest to the magazine and relevant to our subject, the My New York team (editors, designers) may work on the cover project for free. The decision on free work is made by the editor-in-chief.

Paid services:

  • Exception: In any case, the work of third-party specialists, such as photographers, make-up artists, stylists, as well as the rental of a photo studio and other equipment, is paid separately and is not included in the free contribution of the magazine team. The client assumes all expenses related to the payment of their services.

We understand that such a policy may raise questions, so we are ready to provide constructive feedback on the proposed projects. We strive for open and honest cooperation with everyone who is interested in working with My New York magazine.

Thank you for your understanding!
