Rainbow over Manhattan: Pride Parade in 2026

New York has once again proved that it is the world capital of tolerance. On the last Saturday in June, the city was painted in all the colors of the rainbow. One of the largest and most spectacular pride marches in the history of the city took place here.

More than 2,000,000 million people

According to preliminary estimates by the organizers, more than two million people took part in the march. The streets of Manhattan have been filled with people since early morning. Fifth Avenue turned into a continuous stream of color, music and feathers for several hours.

The main themes of the year: "Equal rights. Now. Always"

In addition to the festive atmosphere, the march had a pronounced political connotation. In light of the ongoing debate about legislation regarding the LGBT+ community, participants carried placards demanding the protection of the rights of transgender people and the repeal of discriminatory laws.

Music, dancing, and tears of happiness

Loud music, incendiary Drag Queens dancing in high heels, original costumes and the loud laughter of the guests are what the pride parade 2026 is remembered for. Despite the hot weather, the celebration continued until the very end, attracting the attention of a large number of locals and tourists.

A Look into the Future

Pride 2026 in New York showed that the holiday is not only a party, but also a reminder that the struggle for human rights continues every day. As one of the organizers said: "We didn't come out just to have fun. We came out to be seen. And we will always be visible."
