When fashion becomes art: an unforgettable outburst of emotions from The Confessional showroom in Miami

The Confessional Showroom Miami Shines with Studio 54 Spectacle During Art Week
The Confessional Showroom Miami delivered a standout Art Week moment on December 7th
with a Studio 54–themed fashion show at Electric23/Uva in Wynwood. Led by CEO and owner Johnny Cohen, whose trust-driven leadership empowers his team to create boldly, the show celebrated creative freedom at its highest level.

Creative Director and Producer Marielena GQ brought the vision to life with an immersive,
high-energy production featuring Cazal Eyewear, Okimmi by Simi D., Catou Wear, MyMokondo, and Viktoria Marchev. Grammy Award–winning DJ Tracy Young kept the disco pulse alive, while roller skaters added a show-stopping 1970s flair.

The skating performance was led by Lindsey Koggan (@lindseykoggan) and her All Skates
Go to Heaven team, including Amanda (@rizoskates), Chiara (@chr_mns_), Julien(@julien_j03), Sammy(@doubleoskater), and Nicole (@niccoolllle), bringing movement and nostalgia to the runway.

With standout styling by Mike Stallings, glam by Genesis Martinez of @realgenreal, and support from an exceptional production and volunteer team, the night was a resounding success. Juanes Cespedes served as Backstage Director and Producer’s Assistant, keeping operations seamless, while John Enot captured the night through screen design and film documentary. Support from Dana Yurglich, the volunteer team, production staff, media directors, and press partners was instrumental in bringing the vision to life.

The Confessional Showroom NYC now looks ahead to New York Fashion Week, February 2026, with an already buzz-worthy theme: “The Wizard of Oz.”

«On December 7th during Miami Art Week, I had the opportunity to bring my skate collective, All Skates Go To Heaven, into the Studio 54 inspired fashion show with The Confessional Showroom. Skating alongside incredible designers and artists, our skaters brought that nostalgic disco energy to the runway. Once we heard the playlist, we just naturally did our thing. For me, rollerskating is about freedom and storytelling, and this collaboration showcased that spirit on a new stage. It was an honor to represent Miami’s skate community and contribute to an unforgettable Art Week moment filled with fashion, friends and movement. »
