Today, THE BLACK TAPE PROJECT is known far beyond America. Fashion couturier Joel Alvarez has captivated an international audience with unique images using black duct tape. The designer's work can often be seen in influential magazines and even on television.
The couturier believes that the female body is beautiful in itself and it does not need to be hidden under a huge amount of clothes. At New York Fashion Week, Joel Alvarez presented his works under the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" and thereby caused a storm of applause from the local public and a huge number of positive reviews on the Internet.
